I would like to try something othher than government work. I've work for some sort of government job since I was 19. I was thinking a sign on a street corner. Maybe a spray bottle and a squeege. I got a buddy who cleans and maintains residential swimming pools. He's offered me a job when I retire. He says he makes some real good money doing it. I was thinking about taking him up on the offer. It's something different. There's all kinds of opportunity for folks who want to work. With your background SRB you could look into loss prevention in the retail industry. I have a friend in the regional office who does that part time right now. And, he plans to hit it full time once he retires. There are jobs out there. You just have to look.

Every once in a while I find someone who did pool maintenance and is selling the truck and all of their equipment. Home Depot and Academy frequently replace their loss prevention people. It sounds like a good job. I don't know why the companies are frequently looking for new people. Maybe the opportunity to profit illegally is too great of a temptation. Contract cable repair people seem to come and go too.

My dream job is tester at a mattress factory. I would settle for product development at Blue Bell though.
