Well guy's, I spent the past couple weeks playing cowboy in the West Texas cap rock, just south of Post, Texas. Me and my partner ended up witn a couple of aoudads for our efforts. This is my partners aoudad. This is the one I got. I shot mine at 220yrds kneeling. Dropped it on the top of a cap rock hill. Made for a rough climb, and tough recovery since I was by myself. My partner had left the day before. Here is a close encounter we had that had my partner changing his shorts. It was pretty cold a couple of days too. Very windy and below freezing made for some tough hunting. My new camera does real well with telephoto. Check out the moon. This is me on my favorite hunting spot. And, YES, those are bib overalls I'm wearing. I wear them all the time. After my accident a belt tends to be uncomfortable. And, hey, I wanna be like Bruce on Swamp People. ;D

Nice pictures, but when you say "partner", do you mean "partner" as in male friend or "partner" as in Broke Back Mountain?

Now Bobo, you know I'm a happily married man(to my wonderful wife Melissa for 30 plus years). I included a pic of my HUNTING partner for YOUR viewing pleasure. I knew YOU would like him! ;D

Glad you're back and I bet the wildlife is glad you're back too.

Glad you're back and I bet the wildlife is glad you're back too. ;D ;D Have one or two for me. As much as I enjoyed chasing the animals in West Texas, I enjoy fishing in the Galveston Bay system even more. And, now is prime time for specks, reds and other tasty fish. In the next few weeks I hope to be able to post some good pics of some nice fish. And, Bobo, thanks for the comments. Glad to be back.
