Opps apparently You can't call yourself a F*CKTARD in turnout even though someone else called you that. Wasn't allowed to finish my speach. Enough was said to draw attention to the situation
It was and is still time to stand up for others

Not Against me..
Curiously enough apparently it is okay for a LT to say D*M, Sh*t and H*ll multiple times in turnout

You know, I know cursing is against the rules. I just never could see why some folks were so sensitive toward it. A curse word every now and then never hurt a soul. I could understand someone being upset if the lieutenant was cursing them out personally. But, a curse word here and there should not be cause for any complaints. At least in my book. But, I guess I'm a little rough around the edges in that regard.

I never got anything like that for cussing. But, I gotta tell you, if some of these youngsters ever had an azz chewing like I've gotten they'd prolly wet their britches. I've had wardens and majors call me everything but the mother of God in an azz chewing. But, that was in a time when azz chewings were all you got. They'd chew your azz, and you'd better stand like a man and take it. If you were in the wrong, take the azz chewing and assure the man it won't happen again. Then you'd go on and do your job. Every now and then if I didn't deserve the azz chewing I'd speak my piece, and never once has a warden not listened. I've even had a few who realized they were wrong and corrected the mistake. I guess I've been lucky in that regard. I've worked with some good ones. I've never had a formal disciplinary that went through. I've been lucky in that regard as well.

As a supervisor I have never cursed at my staff even though I couldn't understand how some of those idiots managed to get out of bed every morning. Employees being employees always looking for something to bitch about complained about my facial expressions and tone of voice when I spoke to them. Then I decided I would just give them instructions in written form and then they complained about the "tone of the e-mail/memorandum". What was more disturbing is that management would initiate investigations every time one of those complaints were filed. It was a small group of employees who always looked for things to complain about. When one investigation was closed normally within a day another complaint would be filed and it would start all over. It was just ridiculous..........I don't blame them as much as I blame management for letting it go on.

Oh I had a few good chewing... When I deserve them I will take them...
My Last year has been full of Undeserved crap.. As for being called Names.. A SGT has said "Your a God D*MN LIAR" when I told him I was trained to do it a certain way on a 216 form. He knew because they instructed everyone how to do it a certain way during the last 2 lock downs..I politely reminded him I was not on shift for the last 3 lock downs and I did not receive the training A LT said to Me "Your a worthless Piece of Sh*t, and you need to find a New Job"
Seems every time a SGT or LT chews me out for stupid crap..shortly there after I get a Disciplinary Charge..
I had asked about changing Cards and a LT told said "NO You made your bed, now you gotta sleep in the Bed you made and deal with the consequences. I recently called in Same Lt answered the phone and I received a cussing out...LT said he was gonna give me a disciplinary when I got back..I told him you do what he had to do...Did I get a Disciplinary over Abusing My Time...NO oh No...He claimed I was Insubordinate and cussed him out and slammed down my phone...PD 22 Charge #36..
How do you slam down a Cell Phone by the way?
What he did not know is I have been recording my Call ins since they have previously claimed I no Called No Showed several times...Union Representative will be presenting the Video tape on my Behalf..Someone is in for a Shock...NOT ME CUSSING

I sincerely hope you kick some serious posterior. The other day in our turnout one of our lts. said sh$% so many times that I lost count at 10. He wasn't saying it in an angry tone but as an all around self descriptive term for all the crap that went down this past block but still he said it with the captain sitting right beside him. We seriously do have some officers that abuse their sick time and never hear a peep cause of either the time they've got in or who's posterior they have their nose up. This is a stressful job enough and constantly having to worry about the threat of a disciplinary hanging over your head cause you dropped a cuss word here and there is bull. So too is writing you up for a legitimate absenses. Personally I wouldn't mind clocking in for no other reason than proof that I show up ON TIME and when 6:30 or later comes around I'm still here. Until all officers are treated and respected the same way this will never be an work environment that we can want to come to for much more than a pay check.

"Down," not "town," BTW.
Sounds like TDCJ managers and supervisors have so many applicants they can afford to tell everyone to not let the door hit them in the ass as they're leaving.
Maybe everyone needs to leave. Let the National Guard run the prisons.

Maybe everyone needs to leave. Let the National Guard run the prisons. Just the opposite...Plenty apply just not enough stay and put up with the crap. If the Texas National Guard took over it might be better as long as the brass went also..otherwise they would go AWOL if our Supervisors stayed in Charge.

Thinking I may just publish a Book about my Experiences... ;D A book - really? How are your experiences any different than the rest of us? I can tell you that my book would have pictures marked as exhibits. Management just hates pictures.
