Police identified him Wednesday as Todd Weir, 46, of Wichita Falls. The accident happened at Northwest Highway and Loop 11. No vehicle other than the motorcycle was involved. The body will be sent to Tarrant County Medical Examiner for Autopsy. The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Wichita Falls Police Department Crash Unit. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home with Chaplain Richard Hartwell, of James V. Allred Unit, officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls. Todd was born October 12, 1966 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Rider High School. He was employed with St. Gobain Vetrotex Certainteed for many years, and was currently employed as a Correctional Officer with James V. Allred Unit. Todd enjoyed riding motorcycles, bull riding, and loved to dance. He was fun loving, outgoing, had a big smile, and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck Weir. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lynda and Cliff Brown; two sons, Tyler Weir and Tanner Weir; his sisters, Julie Robbins and husband Mack, and Leesa Sorge and husband Scott; his fiancé, Lisa McCoy all of Wichita Falls; and nieces and nephew, Grace Johnson, Maddie Johnson, Laura Sorge, Sara Sorge, and Tim Sorge.
